Our commitment to our donors

DogsBite.org does not disclose any information about its donors to the public or any for-profit, nonprofit or government entity.

This policy applies to all information received by DogsBite.org, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written or oral communications.

When donations are processed through our third-party service provider, PayPal, our donors' information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. The contact information DogsBite.org sees after a contribution is made to our third party providers includes an email address and sometimes a shipping address. We store both addresses so that we can send a receipt to the wonderful donor and for possible future mail campaigns.

Thank you letter campaign

Separately, some donors may choose to participate in our Thank You Letter campaign. Each letter requires the author's express permission before being added to our website. If there is a reference to a past contribution, we strip it out.
